Quotes from a music lovers who came to a show:

When you play your music, you have the ability to entertain an entire room, yet you make each person feel as if he or she is the only one in the room you are playing to. It's the way you pour your heart into every song that you sing that conveys your feelings for the music you love to your fans. Leaves us loving it too!

We were ring-around-the-rosy children
They were circles around the sun
Never give up, never slow down
Never grow old, never ever die young

Thanks for being here - now we have to get you out to a show.  I play all over West Houston, so if you live anywhere near the 77095 zip code, be sure to catch one of the shows.  I think you will like the show no matter your age, but if you are 35-65 years old, you will fall in love with the song sets.  It is the sound track of our lives.

Comments from Club Owners and Managers:
“Rod plays a wonderful array of genres that mix well with our upscale, yet casual customer base at Cork Café. Best of all, he always draws a crowd!”

"Rod has played for quite some time on alternate Friday nights and occasional special club events. We have seen a marked increase in our business at the club when Rod is playing and I attribute 100% of that increase to him."

Rod with Arnold McCuller and David Lasley of James Taylor's band

"Rod brings with him a diverse repertoire and variety which allows him to reach across generations and bring enjoyment to all. I have had customers and members of all ages attend the club when Rod is playing and everyone enjoys themselves. Rod is very interactive with the crowd which certainly adds to the fun."

”He consistently draws a crowd to his performances, creates a great amount of activity for our lounge/restaurant and provides just the right atmosphere for a casual, entertaining evening.  Rod’s music variety (pop, country, rock, folk) means a diversified crowd.  Plus, it’s one-stop-shopping for us!  We don’t have to have a rock singer, a country singer, etc.  We’ve got them all in one place!  Overall, Rod has become an asset for us.”

Garage recordings get us by, but the live music is much better.

A sweet thought from a great friend and music lover:
Not only is rod an amazing musician, but he is a unique and refreshing soul. One can tell when meeting Rod and talking to him that he genuinely cares about people. The joy Rod gets in performing his music is obvious but just as obvious is the joy of pleasing others, providing them the gift of escape, joy, and memories. This world truly needs more Rods. I sincerely mean every word of this.
